Sex Education In School

Sex education should be implemented as a compulsory subject in school for every student. This is because the condition of the society nowadays are becoming worse day by day because of many sex related activity. Dumping baby, abortion and many more problems keep increasing at a very fast rate. Therefore, sex education should be implemented as a compulsory subject to teach each and every student about sex. Student should have right knowledge about sex. Problem that occuring now maybe because lack of information about sex and many people still does not know what is sex all about. A correct teacher and a complete syllabus about sex education should be formed so that the student can get enough and correct information about this in a right way. Parent should also be informed to tell their children about sex and do not corrupt their kid's mind with very wrong perception about sex. Even though there maybe some people that are against this idea and think that the society may become worse when such a young children already know about sex but I totally disagree with that. Everybody should have the knowledge and it depends on each person how do they want to use the knowledge.

Story about a Boy (Frankly,it is about the writer)

This is a story of a boy. He was born on 15th August 1991 in "Hospital Bersalin Kuala Lumpur" after a few times being transferred to several hospital because of personal problems (what a troublesome boy).

At last, he was successfully born at 8 am in the morning. "It is a boy!" said the doctor. "Such a healthy boy!" said the nurse. The boy's family was very happy and he was given a name, Hidayat. He had grown up without any health problem except one life annoying problem. He love to cry. To make it worse, he cry not in the day but in the night. Started from 8pm and continued until 6pm in the morning. Almost all doctors diagnosed that he does not have any health problem. In the end, his father brought him to a shaman. The shaman knows exactly what to do. He said, "People shouldcall this boy, Boy.". When he was brought home, people immediately call him Boy. And it worked! He does not cry anymore.

After growing up in Dusun Nanding for 5 years, his family migrated to Perlis which is their hometown. When he was 7 years old, he went to the same school where his mother work as a teacher. Scoring good marks through the entire 6 years in elementary school allowed him to go a good secondary school. That is not a full version.

This is a full version. First, he went to a school called "Sekolah Agama Islamiah Behor Mali" in Perlis. After that, he was transferred to "Sekolah Kebangsaan Putra" and lastly to "Sekolah Kebangsaan Utan Aji". That all happened when he was in standard 1. The same thing happened when he entered secondary school. He keep changing school and the last school was "MRSM Langkawi". His mother nearly fed up with his behavior but did not because he continue getting excellent marks in his studies.Well, maybe that is enough for the sensored part.

During his childhood, he loves to take part in many extreme games such as inline skating,BMX and also skateboard. When he was still playing rollerblade, he had cracked his skull after doing some tricks and his mother forbid him to play that thing again. After fully recovered, he played BMX and also nearly broke his ribs after falling from a ramp and also was forbid to do the same thing. Now, he just started to play skateboard and still playing because he still did not injured.

Now this boy is studying in KBU under JPA Scholarship and will continue his studies to Germany if he passed all of the exams with flying colors. Even though he is very busy doing all of the assignments, he keeps finding time to play skateboard and also studying.

2. What is the main issue in the text?
The main issue from this text is about the fairness for all human being all arround the world.Every human in this world deserve to be treated fairly and equally as any other person on earth. No one should be mistreated and no one should be left alone without any help.Everybody should have the rights to speak and to give their oppinions rather than make them shut up and do everything as being told. The main focus in this text is about the unfair treatment for the women in Somalia where they were being force to married someone they barely know and do not even love them and are needed to obey everything thier husband or father demanded. For those who disobey would be consired rude and might be dismembered from the family. The unfairness also streched into religious affair. The women were forced to let the genital organs being cut away by reason that they will be a true woman, clean adn marriable after the ritual. This is not what has being told in the Koran which is the Holy Testaments for Moslem. The men misunderstood the true meaning of the Koran and use it for their own good and greediness without thinking about what will thier daughter or wife suffered.

3. What quality do you admire or dislike in a character?
I have always adored people who can continue their life successfully even when they have so much grave problems.I always wondered how could they achieve to have all that. All I knew from the main character,Waris Dirie that we need to determined on our own what we want and continue pursuing it and never give up.Make the best out of life in what ever situation that your involved yourself into. What life gives you lemon, make a lemonade.Do not regret and the most important,do not forget your origin.Because by remembering your origin, you would never be someone else even though you have travelled to so many foriegn land.Waris never give up,determined,do everything she thinks right and helping those in needed is the quality that I admire the most.

4. How does the text develop your understanding of the world?
Living in my own country and never travelled to any foreign country had made me think that my life is not as good as it should be.But after reading the text,I realize that even though I am in a very bad situation, there is other people who is in a more worst situation than me.Living in a very deserted place,no water, not enough food, frightening culture adn what scared me the most was being homeless and donot have any where to lay your head the last thing I would wish to have in my life.It help me to treasured anything I have now and never be so demanding.Make the best of anything.

Reading Log : Falling Leaves

1. How does the text related to the theme of a journey?
This text tells about the bibliography a life of a woman from his childhood until his adulthood. It is about a journey of life of the writer. It is nearly the same journey told by the writer in the story wrote by Roald Dahl, but Adeline Yen Mah,the writer of the Falling Leaves was telling that her journey of life full of misery, hardship and lack of love from almost everyone including her parents. The journey started when Adeline was still a child and it became worst after her father married a young woman whom became a dictator in the family and try to break the union between her stepchildrens apart.

2. What is the main issue in the text?
The main issue is that the struggling of a little unwanted girl to continue her life in hardship and almost alone and also trying to get a place in her family where she is being loved or even accepted. This is because her father followed too much every single word the her stepmother,Niang told him to do.Even though that her parents did not give her so much attention or even do not love her,she still tried to get their acceptance in the family. She struggle hard to do every single things that her parents wanted her to do even though abandoning what she wanted the most in her life.

3. What quality do you admire or dislike in a character?
What I admire the most is the personality of the main character which is Adeline. She is very hardworking because even so many bad things happened in her life, she never complained much and continue pursuing her studies and even achieving so many great results and rewards. Her obidience to her parents ecpecially to her father and her excelnce in her studies makes her father accepted her even though she does not know the fact until she read her father's original will. She never give up her studies and never give up trying even when nobody was helping her such as when she does not have enough money for the plane to go to America and also she does not rely on anybody when she have a lots of family problems with her first husband. She is very obidient to her parents but still it does not prevent her to stop doing something that she thought was right like when she still helped Tai-Way even her stepmother forbid her to do so.

4. How does the text developt your understanding of the world?
I am living in a happy family free from any worst problem.I never need to encounter any of that yet and I admit that when I encounter any problem,I do not think that I can handle it alone or go through it such Adeline did.Maybe I do not even know what is really a problem because all my life had been a happy one. This text help me realise not all people in the world is as fortunate as me and not everyone is going to be free from problems. We should prepare ourself before we encounter something and make sure that we can pass any challenge that has been placed on us because all of the hardship will make us stronger and more indipendence.I also learned that we should stay on our own feet and never rely too much to other person when we have some problems.

But after a few moments, she stopped crying because she thinks that crying is not making the situation better. She also has a strong personality and do not change even though the condition arround her is very different and challenging. She stays with her oppinion even though it will cause her so much trouble and she is very enthusiastic. She keep on asking question when people are telling stories because she is very enthusiastic. She is very determined because she do many things just because she wanted to go to the beautiful garden that she saw in the beginning of the story.

4. How does the text develop your understanding of the world?
The main character of the story, which is Alice and the story itself told me many things about the world. We should not expect that people behavior will be the same as in our hometown when we go somewhere else and do not expect that people will treat us like we were being treated at home. The text also shows that we should not change the way we think just because other people acting differently from us. What we need to do is to cope with their ways and respect their ideas and avoid breaking the rules in the place we stay.
