1. How does the text related the theme of a journey?
This story is about the tales of a boy named Roald Dahl. This is the story about his life. The journey of Roald Dahl from his childhood into his adulthood. The process of growing or getting older older was interpretated by the writer also as a type of journey. The journey of Roald Dahl is the journey of becoming a man. The story tells everything about the life of Roald Dahl, also known as Boy. It is the story of a happy journey in life.
2. What is the main issue of the text?
The main issue of the text is how we see the world of our life through a child eye.The writer wrote the story as if he was still a child. Thats what makes the story interesting and full of humour.Child's mind was always cheerful and for them, everything in life is new and everything need to be cherished.Reading the story about a person's life make we think back about our own life and our own childhood and the differences between those two.
3. What quality do you admire or dislike in a character?
The main character in this story in Roald Dahl, the Boy.He was full of imagination and everyday on his life is the best day for him.He creates the good things out of the worst. He never complained anything about the worst day in his life and he endured everything that happened in his life. That is what I admired about the main character. He teach me how to become an optimistic person in life and also makes the pesimistic thinking as an armour for me to endure the bad things in life.
4. How does the text develop your understanding of the world?
The text told me that everything is changing as time passes. So that the behavior of the person at the certain age or a certain time in his or her life.Things are different as child and things are also different when people is an adult.A lot of things must be endured in life and not everything is sweet and not all bitter things are bad.It makes me realise how fortunate I am to be born in this world to do and achieve the things that I like.It is also make me realise that I am very fortunate to live in a world that is far modern than Roald Dahl that allows me to do anything easier than him.
Live your life. Reach the Sky.
